Up Numbers 1-10 Numbers 11-100 Telling the time

This lesson focuses on numbers in Spanish. You won't need to learn any new grammar, but you will have to memorize the basic numbers from one to ten.

Numbers 1 - 10

Let's get started. Remember to speak the numbers aloud as you read them. Read through them several times, until you feel confident enough to write them. Don't cheat by looking though - write them down and then compare it with the original list.

  2. dos

  3. tres

  4. cuatro

  5. cinco

  6. seis

  7. siete

  8. ocho

  9. nueve

  10. diez

Okay. Let's repeat the numbers again. Say it aloud.

uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve, diez

Now, count backwards with me.

diez, nueve, ocho, siete, seis, cinco, cuatro, tres, dos, uno

1. Answer the following math questions (we're only counting to ten, so no calculators!) [answers]

 dos y tres   = .....

2. Now answer the following subtraction questions (there aren't any negative numbers) [answers]

 nueve menos cinco = ....
